Fine motor development is essential for everyday tasks, academic readiness, and hand-eye coordination. It helps toddlers build the strength and control needed for writing, buttoning, cutting, and more! In our Fine Motor Fun class, we'll explore hands-on activities that support these important skills—all through play!
Each class will include a mix of sensory play, creative art, and skill-building activities, such as:
- Painting with unconventional tools, such as: sponges, cotton balls, and fingers!
- Tearing, sticking, and cutting paper for pre-scissor skills.
- Pinching, scooping, and transferring small objects to refine hand strength.
- Early handwriting strokes using crayons, chalk, and finger tracing.
- Color recognition, counting, and sorting items through playful, interactive stations.
*For toddler classes, a parent or guardian must remain on-site.
